There were three parties this week that I had to plan. Monday night was a dinner for one of our Product Managers Teams in TN. Tuesday was the dinner for the Management Team and several others along with the owners of the company that just sold us. It was a "thank you for helping me make a shit load of money" dinner. I will say this...Villa Antonio is an excellent restaurant. ~magnifico!!~ Wednesday night was the retirement party. Now I will say this, I had less than a week to put together a retirement party for one of our employees who was "forced" into retirement. He had 36 years with the company and the Engineering department moved to TN and he didn't want to move so that was that. The party was awesome. The food was great. The alcohol was abundant. Everyone had a wonderful time. I received an email from the gentleman who retired this morning. My friends at XXXX, Retiree It really was a fun time...but I will say this....I'm not used to being out two nights in a row and "partying". It all seems to catch up with me much faster than it did when I was 10 years younger. I'm pooped! >3 comments |
