shortst101's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Easter Weekend Monday.....again.....ughhhh The three day weekend is over. But what's new, that's my 3rd three day weekend in a row and I still haven't found time to get any rest.... Easter was good though...... Friday was spent doing lots of running around, errands and such....Saturday was spent doing our taxes....thank god that's over, well except for the fact that have to sign and mail them this evening. This is the 1st year that we haven't cooked Easter dinner. Instead of having to deal with cooking and cleaning and all that icky stuff, we just went out to eat after church. My feelings weren't hurt any over this...because well I would have had to do most of the cooking and cleaning...lol After lunch, we all went to the new house and hid easter eggs and just enjoyed the beautiful weather. All the kids had a good time and I really think that the new house is going to be like a new beginning for everyone. Even though there is a lot of bad things going on right now.....everyone was able to set that aside for a while and enjoy the sunshine and some simple fun. It was nice.
