This wasn't a bad thing at all really. It was just busy and tiring. We spent the very 1st night at the new house this weekend. Me, my husband, our two boys and my nephew. Kids were all in sleeping bags on floor which husband and I slept in the only bed we have down there along with the dog. We got to the house on Saturday afternoon and did a bit of painting done, then we all went out to eat at a fish camp about 8 miles from the house. A friend of mine and her husband came to see the house and they went out to dinner with us. It was a nice time. My friend had them deliver a piece of cake to the table for our anniversary. It was nice. Sunday was filled with more painting and work but it was a good kind of work, things are getting there slowly but surely, I hope the painting will be done with one more weekend and then all the other work can begin. On Saturday night, after dark, I went outside and sat on the front porch. It was dark, just the way I love it. I sat there for the longest time just listening to the frogs and bugs and whistling of the wind. My husband and the three boys joined me a bit later and we all just enjoyed the moments outside. It was a different experience from living in the city. Now, I'm a country girl and this is like being at home for me. To be able to actually hear the frogs and hear the wind rustle through the trees. To hear the branches cracking and to just enjoy being out in nature. God I loved it and can't wait to get moved out there. Today has been a monday for sure. But I'm smiling and enjoying the day.
