And it was like time had never passed. Like I had spoken to you just the day before and the day before that. Funny how that is, how we can always pick right up where we left off no matter how long it has been or what has happened. Your voice is always the same. Strong and warm. Your laughter tickles me from the inside out. You make me smile. You always have. How is it that you seem to know when I need or want to hear from you the most? How is it that our connection is still there? The way it has been since the very 1st time I met you. I've never forgotten about you. There are always things around me that remind me of you. Certain songs I will hear or certain places i will drive by. They always bring back sweet memories of you. I'm not sure how long you will be around this time.
