I seem to be fading into the background for some reason. Things here are just going, going, going. School started last Friday and we are slowly getting into a routine. I am now getting up @ 5:45 in the morning and waking the little one up by 6:00 or a few minutes after. Now he only wants to eat cereal with bananas in it and then usually ends up just picking out the bananas without actually eating the cereal. I have been cooking breakfast for my oldest son who doesn't have to get up until 7:00 AM and for my mother-in-law. Not sure how long THAT routine will last as trying to figure out different things to fix them in the mornings is a pain but we shall see. The little one and I leave by 7:00 AM, pick up the neighbors two children and head to the school. The neighbor has the sweetest little girl, she is in 1st grade. I walk her and my son to class and it looks like that routine will continue throughout the year as well. Then after getting all the kids to school, I head to work. Been making it by 7:45 everyday. I think it's all going to work out well. My oldest son seems to be liking high school so far. He's currently taking World History, French, Algebra and PE/Health. Of course his favorite class is PE. We have been trying to locate him a Fall baseball team to play on since we moved. Well, we have to look no more. As soon as I got home last night, my son said that there were baseball sign ups at the middle school for 13-14-15 year olds. They had made an announcement at the high school. So after getting homework done, we headed over there and signed him up. Looks like he will be playing two games a week. More running around for me. Yipee! We are still trying to get things settled at the new house. My mom-in-law is still not happy there, but it seems she is starting to adjust a bit more. I hope it will continue in a positive direction.
