Well, no work for me yesterday. My little one was sick. He still is. He started running fever on Sunday....and Monday, he had a little cough and running nose and fever off and on throughout the day. Well yesterday, he ran fever all day long and generally went downhill. I hate when he gets like that...he seems so little and just so vulnerable when he's like that and all I want to do is hold him and snuggle with him and take care of him. He's much stronger about it than I am....takes it all in stride and acts like it's just another day. I took him to the doctor, they did a strep tests, but said it was negative and chocked it up to a virus. It's always "just a virus" Well I called them back later when he started complaining of his back and legs hurting and having chills because that makes me think it's the flu and the smart ass nurse said "well the flu is a virus." Well, no shit sherlock.....but I thought you might like to know the other things going on with him since our doctor's visit this morning. Alot of help they are! GRRRR
So he's at home today still and I don't forsee him going to school tomorrow as you have to be without fever for 24 hours and he just had his fever spike back up a little while ago. Mom in law had to give him tylenol and he's also got the croupy cough, so we are warding that off with steriods that I have ad home. I didnt' even call the doctor just told my mother in law to give it to him.
And to top it off, my oldest son came home from school early (hubby had to pick him up)saying his stomach was hurting. Ok, now his stomach might be hurting, but I tend to believe that he just didn't want to be at school and the reason I say this is that he ask me last night if he could stay home today because he hasn't missed that many days of school. And of course, my answer was NO, your not sick, and your not missing school.
Husband's work trailer was stolen last night too. He parked it about 5:30 yesterday afternoon and at 10:00 PM last night, it was gone..G O N E, gone. That's just perfect.....something else that has to be replaced and I don't think his business insurance will cover it because it wasn't a registered trailer. Just great!
And work....gosh I don't even want to go there. One of my bosses, the CEO, is not looking real good today, he's stressed to the max. If they don't go ahead and hurry up with all that is going on here, they are all gonna have to visit the funny farm and hell, they are gonna have to take ME with them.
Okies, have to get back to the stuff that is sitting here staring me in the face.....
