I'm back, i'm back. Are you just so happy? Okay, so maybe not. But that's okay.
Anyway......
I'm back.
The move is mostly over. We still have some odds and ends at the old house but will get those moved in the next week or so. The house looks great and it really did come together so well. I love the feel of the house. I hope that everyone will be happy there. My mother in law is having a hard time adjusting, but I hope that will pass with a little bit of time.
The kids are having a blast. A huge yard to play in. The swimming pool. Rooms of their own. What more could they ask for.
I still have no internet access at home and it looks like that will be a problem for a while. Seems there are some phone line issues. And the fact that I can't get "high speed" anything really sucks. But actually it's probably not a completely bad thing that I have no internet access other than the fact that I can't access the bank accounts and pay any bills, but who needs to pay bills?
Money situation sucks right now. We are completely tapped out with no hope in sight but it will eventually come together, one way or another.
Last week was filled with doctor's appts too. Took mother in law to see an eye doctor to have eyes checked. She has cataracts and initially decided she wanted to have one of them removed. We were at the doctor for well over three hours, she setup a surgery date and has since changed her mind. She's decided to just try getting her glasses changed 1st to see how that works out.
Husband had to see the neurologist for a check up. He was doing well except for having some balance problems. Doctor took some blood to check out some things and said he may have to run some more tests to see about the balance issues.
Youngest son had to go to the doctor too, neurologist. He has to have another 24 hour EEG test done on June 29 and 30. They hook him up to all these wires (his head) and he has to wear a back pack for 24 hours as it monitors his brain activities. He's not real happy about it cause he will miss one day of swimming. Anyway, she wants to check to see how he's doing. I honestly think he's been having more seizures just by the things that I see, but since we can't SEE the seizures it's so hard to tell. Another thing to wait and see about.
Oldest son hurt his leg at the ballgame on saturday. He got himself in quite a pickle. Caught between third base and home plate. He was running back and forth, back and forth, trying hard not to get out. No kidding, half the other team was surrounding him. He had a break when one of the other kids dropped the ball on the ground. He would have made it home except for the fact that he fell just about the same time. Everyone clapped for him though. It was kinda funny too.
Okies, I better get off here and get to work. That's one thing that never changes.
