I know I have been quiet again, and not here and hiding. It's not that I haven't been here, because I have been keeping up with diaries, it's just that I haven't been able to write about what's going on in my life. I swear it seems like our family can't catch a break on anything at all these days and it's constantly something all the time and I'm just not really dealing with things all that well right now.
So, let me just list the things that have been going on.....
1. My husband's health issues just continue to decline or get worse. He's been having problems with his eyes over the last few months and the doctor sent him for an MRI and sent him to see an eye doctor. The eye doctor said that there was no eye disease or anything and sent him on his way with a new pair of glasses and then when he went back to the neurologist, he said that he was concerned about something the MRI showed up with the nerves in his eyes. The neurologist thinks that he may have MS. He is having a spinal tap tomorrow to find out. So that's been heavy on everyone's minds for the last couple weeks and he's been a real bear trying to not worry and yet coping with the fact that he might have MS.
2. We've been taking care of our 81 year old neighbor. About a month ago, my husband took him to emergency room. At the time we didn't know it but he was in congestive heart failure. He ended up staying in the hospital for two weeks and having a defib pacemaker put in. He's home now but we are having to help take care of him. He has no family and so the neighbors are all that he has.
3. The move has been weighing heavy on us all too. The city council finally voted on the rezoning of the property that we live on. They voted yes so the sale will go thru. However, the closing dates have been changed to February instead of December and in a way that's good because gives us more time to find something, but also, would be nice to just have it all over and done with. We really dont' want to move until June anyway if it all works out so kids won't have to change schools in the middle of a year.
4. One of my coworkers died a couple weeks ago. He was driving his tractor on his farm and it turned over crushing him. He was our plant manager and a good friend of mine. Always had a smile on his face and a kind word to give. It's really sad that someone so young has to die. He was 52.
These are just some of the things that have been going on. I won't list any more right now as it wears me out just to think about all that has been going on.
Anyway, sorry for my silence......i don't mean to be that way.
